ABOUT ME

The Journey

Aman Gaunekar started his musical journey nearly 12 years ago by expressing ideas first with the Guitar. Under the tutelage of several world class guitarists such as Prasanna Ramaswamy, Ed Degenaro, Rubens De La Corte, Juancho Herrera and many more; slowly venturing into the field of contemporary music and everything that it encompasses such as Blues, Funk, Rock, Pop and Jazz etc.

Over the past 7 years, Aman taught himself to play the piano based on music theory concepts acquired during his early years as a music student. He also worked as an educator with Furtados School Of Music from 2015-2017 and has also been working as an educator privately.

In his free time he takes up Bollywood tunes and re-harmonizes with Jazz progressions. He is currently working on his album & inching towards his goals of being a multi-instrumentalist.

Over the past year, Aman has played with a large network of musicians at several venues in Mumbai such as Veranda (Bandra), The Finch (Powai), Habitat (Khar), Verbena (Lower Parel), Stables (Andheri), Hard Rock Cafe (Worli), The Good Wife( Bandra), etc.
